McKenna Becker painted a picture of a boat on the rough waters of the ocean for me. She brought to life a dream that I had where God gave me a boat; a lifeline. This is a constant reminder of the protection God has for me and a promise that He will always see me through the hard times. McKenna is an extremely talented artist. The first piece I ever framed in my home is an acrylic piece of hers, it has tones of pink and gold, it is simple in nature, but it brings me an insane amount of joy whenever I look at it because she captured a perfect San Diegan sunset that I now get to take with me wherever I go. I have known of McKenna’s amazing talents for years. Her creativity with words, a paint brush and pretty much anything her hands touch is beyond amazing. Such a gift. So when I heard she was painting for others, I immediately commissioned her to do a painting for me. I wanted it to be something special that exuded joyful memories, and for me that was my grandparent’s barn when I was growing up.
